he Cola Battista Winery is a family-run
business. Today’s vineyard, farmed with passion by the owners,
covers an area of 10 hectares and lies in a privileged position on the
slopes of Monte Alto within the vicinity of Adro and Cortefranca.
Battista Cola, founder of the vineyard has winemaking in his blood: his
enthusiasm was instilled by his father who cultivated the small
terraced land entirely by hand. The Winery was founded in 1985 when new
vines were planted substituting the old and Battista together with his
son Stefano modernized the cellar. Today nothing, from the vinification
to the length of time required to obtain wines synonymous with the
region, is left to chance ............... .
